Wellness & Longevity · NAD+ · Glutathione · B12 · MIC

Cellular wellness, explained at the cell.

What NAD+, glutathione, B12, and MIC actually do inside a cell, and how they may be beneficial for your health and longevity. Before completing your purchase, one of our licensed providers will help decide which programs are a good fit for you. Then you can choose from one of our US-based compounding pharmacies and have your order shipped right to your home.

NAD+

The coenzyme your cells recycle, not the one they build.

Every cell in your body runs on NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide): it's the shuttle that turns food into usable energy and the fuel your repair enzymes burn. It plays a critical role in keeping cells functioning at their best. But, here's the twist: your body barely builds any NAD+ from scratch. It hoards the molecule and recycles it, over and over, all day long. As we age, natural NAD+ levels decline. This decline has been associated with reduced cellular energy production and changes in normal metabolic processes. NAD+ therapy is designed to help replenish these levels, supporting the cellular systems that keep your body functioning efficiently.

Roughly 85% of your NAD+ is regenerated through the "salvage pathway," where an enzyme called NAMPT (nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase) recovers spent nicotinamide and feeds it straight back into the supply chain. It's not a factory, it's a recycling plant! That's why keeping the raw materials topped off is the name of the game.

A ThriveMedRX NAD+ program is a provider-supervised subcutaneous regimen for patients exploring energy and healthy-aging support, with provider oversight throughout.

Glutathione · The Master Antioxidant

Support your body's natural defenses.

Vitamin C and E you have to eat. Glutathione is different: your cells build it themselves, stitching together three amino acids (glutamic acid, cysteine, and glycine) into the antioxidant your liver leans on hardest. It helps protect proteins, DNA, and cell membranes from oxidative damage, supports mitochondrial function (the "powerhouse of the cell"), and assists the enzymes that convert metabolic waste into compounds your body can naturally eliminate. It's also been studied for its role in skin health, including helping protect skin's collagen and elastin (the proteins that keep it firm) from oxidative damage.

Glutathione doesn't just scavenge free radicals. It also helps recycle other antioxidants like vitamins C and E, helps protect skin cells from oxidative damage caused by UV light, supports the liver's natural detoxification pathways, and plays an essential role in normal immune function. Because nearly every cell in your body relies on glutathione to maintain a healthy internal environment, adequate levels are associated with healthy aging, cellular resilience, and overall wellness.

Provider-supervised glutathione support pairs cleanly with a NAD+ or metabolic program, same flat price, same clinical follow-through.

Vitamin B12

A vitamin with exactly two jobs, and one is your nervous system.

B12 gets sold as a generic "energy" shot. The real biology is stranger and more impressive, starting with the fact that B12 is the only vitamin built around a metal atom. A single cobalt ion sits at its core, which is why chemists call it cobalamin and why it's the largest, most complex vitamin your body uses. B12 plays a critical role in cellular metabolism, helping convert the fats and proteins you eat into usable cellular energy. It's not a stimulant like caffeine. It supports the biochemical pathways your cells use to produce energy in the first place.

Per the NIH, B12 is a cofactor for exactly two enzymes: methionine synthase and L-methylmalonyl-CoA mutase, and it's required for the myelination and function of the central nervous system. "Energy and nerves" isn't marketing here; it's the literal job description.

B12 bundles neatly with a MIC/metabolic program or any GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) program, a low-friction add that fits the same flat monthly price.

MIC / Lipo-C

The lipotropic blend, letter by letter.

MIC stands for Methionine, Inositol, and Choline, often paired with B12 (that's the "Lipo-B12" you'll see).

M: Methionine is an essential amino acid your body can't make on its own. Beyond being a building block for proteins, it's required to produce S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), one of the body's primary methyl donors, which supports hundreds of biochemical reactions including liver function, detoxification pathways, and the synthesis of glutathione (the master antioxidant mentioned above).

I: Inositol isn't technically a vitamin, but it behaves like one in many tissues. It's a critical component of cell membranes and of the chemical messengers cells use to communicate with one another. Inositol also plays important roles in insulin signaling, fat metabolism, and normal liver function.

C: Choline wears several hats. It helps package triglycerides so they can leave the liver, serves as a precursor to the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, and plays an important role in cellular metabolism. Few nutrients participate in as many fundamental biological processes, which is interesting when you learn it was so overlooked that the U.S. didn't formally declare it an "essential nutrient" until 1998.

Together, MIC doesn't "burn fat" like a stimulant. Instead, it supports the cellular machinery responsible for metabolizing, transporting, and processing fat, while helping maintain healthy liver function.

A once-weekly MIC program is a metabolic-support option many patients bundle alongside a GLP-1 program. Your provider confirms it's appropriate for you first.

What These Plans Support

One model, three reasons people start.

One set of molecules, one provider-first model, three different goals people walk in with. No molecule fixes sleep, food, or training, so a good program supports the fundamentals instead of trying to replace them.

Healthy Aging

NAD+ and glutathione target the two cellular systems that quietly slow with age (energy production and oxidative defense) with a provider keeping the protocol honest and reassessed, not open-ended.

Energy & Vitality

B12 and NAD+ feed the machinery your cells use to turn food into usable energy. Not a stimulant jolt that borrows from tomorrow: the biochemistry that sits underneath it.

Recovery & Cellular Health

Glutathione and metabolic support aimed at one question: how cleanly your cells clear the wreckage and bounce back between hard days: training, travel, or just life.
